Slandering the Dead

If you've ever given Fox News the benefit of the doubt they are "fair and balanced," check out this real classy obit of Kurt Vonnegut and try to hold in your vomit.

Wow! What the hell was that?

Why don't they just dig up his corpse and let O'Reilly ask him loaded questions about Iran?

It's just so mean-spirited and wrong.

My favorite bits:

"By the late 70's Vonnegut was rich and irrelevant."

". . . continued in his [ ] despondent leftism . . ."

The gratutious comments about Reagan and Nixon to gin up Republican hatred.

And this is true class:

"He hoped his children wouldn't say of him, 'He made wonderful jokes, but he was such an uphappy man'... so I'll say it for them."

Thanks, James Rosen! Can't wait until you're dead!

I think most of us would actually aspire to one day become "rich and irrelevant".

I bet Britney Spears would love that situation right about now.
