Ahah! I always knew there was a connection between "Trapper John, MD" and "Blossom" - now my life is complete.
Anyway, all I remember about St. Elsewhere is that Ed Begley, Jr., Howie Mandel, and the voice of KITT (the Knight Rider car) aka William Daniels were doctors on the show.
I watched the entire run of "St. Elsewhere" in the fall semester of 1993 on some Ithaca cable channel before my 11:15 class. Fucking great show. It would work in sly references to David Bowie songs and other weird shit. Smartest show of its day.
